- 6 to 9 c. flour
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 3 c. milk
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 4 c. (16 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1In a large bowl combine 4 cups of the flour and the yeast. Heat milk, sugar and salt until warm (115° to 120°), stirring to dissolve sugar.

2Add to flour mixture, along with eggs and cheese. With electric mixer on low, beat until well blended.

3By hand, stir in remaining flour to make a stiff dough.

4Turn dough onto lightly floured surface and knead until smooth.

5Place in large greased bowl; cover with clean towel and let rise until double in bulk. Divide dough; knead and place in greased bread pans.

6Will make 3 large loaves.

7Bake at 350° for 45 minutes, until golden brown on top.

8Remove from pan and butter top of loaves.

9Let cool.
