- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 1/2 to 2 c. cheese (your choice)
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 2 to 2 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Combine 1 1/2 cups flour and yeast; set aside.

2Grate cheese into water with sugar and salt.

3Heat just until warm.

4Add to flour mixture with egg.

5Stir well.

6Add 2 to 2 1/2 cups flour; knead to moderately stiff dough.

7Shape into ball and let rise until double.

8Divide in half and let rest 10 minutes.

9Shape into two loaf pans; let rise until double.

10Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.

11Cover with foil the last 20 minutes.

12Cut while warm and spread with garlic seasoned butter and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
