  • 3/4 c. margarine
  • 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese (mild or sharp)
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of Tabasco sauce
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • dash of pepper

Directions

    Combine all ingredients and mix well.

    Pinch off pieces of dough; roll into a ball.

    Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork.

    Bake at 350° for 15 minutes, until golden brown and slightly dry.

    Do not substitute butter for margarine, as the consistency will change.

    Makes 5 to 6 dozen, depending on the size you desire.
