  • 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 egg, separated
  • 2 pkg crescent rolls
  • nuts, optional

Directions

    Soften cream cheese; beat in sugar, lemon juice, vanilla and egg yolk.

    Spread one package of rolls in bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Spread cheese mixture over rolls, then top with second package of rolls.

    Whip egg white until foamy and brush on top.

    May sprinkle with nuts.

    Bake 350 for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.

    May sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
