Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped green pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 can chili beans
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Brown ground chuck, onions and green pepper.

    Drain, add garlic powder, salt, pepper and water.

    Simmer until liquid evaporates.

    Add tomatoes, chili beans and cubed cheese.

    Melt over low heat, stirring to keep from burning.

    Serve over tortilla chips.
