- 1 c. grits (regular)
- 3 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 (6 oz.) roll garlic cheese or 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, diced
- 4 to 5 Tbsp. butter
- 2 eggs, beaten
- salt to taste
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. Tabasco
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- dash of cayenne pepper
- dash of paprika
Directions

1Boil grits in water, milk and salt in a heavy pan.

2Stir often until stiff.

3Stir diced/grated cheese into hot grits.

4Add butter.

5Cool.

6Blend eggs into mixture.

7Season to taste with salt, Tabasco, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and paprika.
