Cheese Icing For Finger Bread

- 1/2 lb. sharp cheese, grated
- 2 sticks oleo
- 1 Tbsp. sour cream or mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp. salt (use less)
- 2 unbeaten egg whites
- dash of red pepper (good sized dash)
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. grated onion
Directions

1Put all ingredients together in mixer and beat until smooth. Cut bread (either Texas toast size or plain slice) in finger slices (3 to one slice).

2Cut off crusts.

3Spread cheese mixture on all sides (top and sides only; do not do the bottom).

4Place on cookie sheet and bake in oven (370° to 375°) for about six minutes or until lightly browned.

5(Should be eaten hot).
