Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. Roquefort or sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 lb. butter or oleo
  • 1/4 lb. creamed cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. brandy or dry sherry
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 c. minced parsley or 1/4 c. minced olives
  • 3/4 c. crushed walnuts

Directions

    Mix first 5 ingredients together until very smooth.

    Shape into 2 long rolls, about 1 1/2-inches in diameter.

    Combine parsley or chives with nuts.

    Roll the cheese in mixture and chill until fairly firm.

    Serve in slices with crisp unsalted crackers. (Freezes well.)
