Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. almonds
  • 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire
  • 1 tsp. grated onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Toast almonds at 350° for 10 minutes; cool.

    Chop 1/4 cup of the almonds and set aside.

    Grind together 1 cup almonds, cheese (Cheddar) and cream cheese.

    Add lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, onion and salt.

    Blend thoroughly and shape into log about 8 inches long by 2 inches in diameter.

    Roll in 1/4 cup chopped almonds.

    Wrap in moisture-proof wrap.

    Chill overnight and slice to serve.
