- 300 grams Cavatappi or fusilli, or any short pasta
- 200 grams Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 Onion
- 1/2 bag Shimeji mushrooms
- 3 slice Bacon
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 400 ml Milk
- 1 Salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp Butter
Directions

1First do the prep-work.

2While the macaroni is boiling, mince the onion along the grain.

3Remove the stem ends from the shimeji mushrooms and separate.

4Cut the bacon into 1 cm thick slices.

5Cut the cheese into 2 cm cubes.

6Cook the onion, shimeji mushrooms, and bacon in an oiled frying pan.

7Flavor with salt and pepper, and once the onions wilt add the butter and melt.

8Then add the flour, and cook until no longer floury.

9Then add the milk to create the white sauce.

10Add the cheese to the finished white sauce and dissolve.

11Once it's dissolved add the macaroni.

12If you like you can bake for about 10 minutes in an toaster oven to make it aromatic.
