  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 c. shredded cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. melted butter

Directions

    Combine first five ingredients in a large bowl. Make a well in center of mixture. Combine egg, milk and butter.

    Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.

    Spoon into greased muffin pans, filling 2/3 full. Bake at 425° for 20 minutes. Yields 12 muffins.
