- 4 large potatoes
- 1/4 cup butter melted
- monosodium glutamate
- onion salt
- paprika
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1Scrub the potatoes without peeling. Cut into large strips.

2Soak potato strips in ice water for 30 minutes, drain, and dry.

3Preheat oven to 450F.

4Arrange a single layer of potatoes in a shallow, greased baking pan. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with monosodium glutamate, onion salt and paprika.

5Bake 20 to 30 minutes, turning occasionally, until the potatoes are crisp and brown on the outside but still tender on the inside.

6Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, shaking the pan so the potatoes are evenly coated. Serve hot!
