  • 2 lb. hash browns (Ore-Ida in bag)
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 c. Velveeta cheese
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. onion
  • bread crumbs (I use Total cornflakes)

    Melt cheese.

    Mix all ingredients together in an 11 x 13-inch pan. Top with bread crumbs and butter. Cook, covered, 45 minutes. Uncover for 15 additional minutes.
