  • 10 to 12 medium potatoes
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1 3/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3/4 c. crushed corn flakes or potato chips

Directions

    Boil potatoes; cool and grate.

    Mix together grated potatoes, soup, butter, sour cream, onion and cheese.

    Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Top with crushed flakes or chips.

    Bake 45 to 60 minutes at 350°.

    (Can be made ahead and frozen but do not bake if you plan to freeze.

    To serve next day, store in refrigerator.)
