- 2 sticks butter or margarine
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. flour
- 3 to 4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 (16 oz.) loaf Velveeta cheese
- 10 to 12 medium potatoes, cut into bite size pieces and boiled until soft
Directions

1Melt butter in large saucepan.

2When butter is completely melted and bubbly, add flour 1 teaspoon at a time until mixture is thick, but still bubbly.

3Stir in salt and pepper.

4Add milk, one cup at a time, stirring constantly until mixture resembles gravy. Cut Velveeta into 2-inch cubes.

5Add 5 or 6 at a time, until sauce is thick and cheesy.

6Drain cooked potatoes and place in large casserole dish. Pour cheese sauce over potatoes.

7Place in 350° oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until top is slightly brown and sauce is bubbly.

8Serves 12.
