- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 c. flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c. finely chopped ham, salami or Prosciutto
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2Heat water and shortening to a rolling boil in saucepan.

3Stir in flour all at once.

4Stir vigorously over low heat until mixture leaves sides of pan and forms a ball, about 1 minute.

5Remove from heat, beat in egg thoroughly.

6Beat mixture until smooth and velvety.

7Mix in cheese and meat.
-
8Drop by teaspoons on lightly greased baking sheet.

9Bake 25 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.

10Makes about 30 puffs.
