Ingredients

  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Velveeta cheese
  • 1 or 1 1/2 loaves large sandwich bread

Directions

    Melt cheeses together in the top of a double boiler (keep warm for ease in spreading).

    Remove crusts from the bread.

    With a rolling pin, flatten each slice as thin as possible.

    Spread cheese mixture thinly on each slice, then roll up with filling inside.

    Cut each roll in half.

    Dip in melted butter or margarine, coating on all sides.

    Heat under broiler until golden brown, 5 to 10 minutes.

    These can be easily prepared and frozen for future use.

    Do not toast before freezing.
