Cheese Rice Krispers

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 lb. New York sharp cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 2 1/2 c. plain flour

Directions

    Let butter and cheese set at room temperature until soft. Grate cheese fine and mix with butter.

    Sift red pepper and salt with flour and add to cheese and butter mixture.

    Add Rice Krispies.

    Roll into small balls.

    Bake at 325° for 15 to 20 minutes.

    Makes 5 to 6 dozen.
