Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 3/4 c. mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
  • 1 small, finely chopped onion
  • pinch of garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne red pepper
  • 1 jar Smucker's strawberry preserves
  • Town House or Ritz crackers

    Combine first 6 ingredients and mix well.

    Butter Tupperware mold.
  3. 3
    Put cheese mixture in mold; mash down and make even.

    Chill at least 24 hours.

    Put mold in hot water in sink and unmold quickly.
  6. 6
    Pour strawberry preserves into middle of Cheese Ring. If desired, put fresh strawberries around the ring.

    Serve with crackers.

    Place cheese mixture and preserves on each cracker when served.
