- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- speck of pepper
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Melt the butter in a double boiler.

2Stir in flour, pepper, salt and cheese, then stir until thoroughly blended and smooth. Add the milk gradually while stirring and cook over boiling water until smooth and thickened, stirring constantly.

3Makes one cup sauce.
