- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 pinches salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 c. shredded American cheese
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste

1Scald milk (uncovered).

3Melt butter in another pan over low heat.

4Add flour gradually, stirring.

5Add hot milk gradually and shredded cheese.

6Stir over low heat until it thickens.
