- 1/2 c. margarine
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/2 c. flour
- 5 c. milk
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Melt butter in a large saucepan and saute the onions, garlic and celery for five minutes.

2Add flour and blend well.

3Over low heat, add cheese and milk, constantly stirring.

4Heat thoroughly, but do not boil.
