- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 large eggs separated
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese grated
Directions

1Heat milk in double boiler.

2When hot, add cornmeal.

3Stir until thick.

4Add salt, butter, egg yolks and cheese.

5Beat egg whites and fold into cornmeal mixture.

6Bake in two quart casserole at 350F (180C) for 35 minutes.
