  • 1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
  • 1 lb. Cheddar or Colby cheese, grated
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 4 jalapeno chiles, chopped or chopped green chiles

Directions

    In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, layer the Jack cheese first, then Cheddar/Colby.

    In a bowl, mix flour, eggs and milk, then pour evenly over cheeses.

    Drop chiles on top.

    Bake 45 minutes in a 350° oven.

    Makes 20 to 25 squares.
