  • 1 pound Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped & toasted
  • 12 ounces strawberry jam

Directions

    Beat first 6 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer until blended; stir in the toasted pecans. Shape mixture into a volcano shape, or spoon into a 5 cup mold. Cover and chill 8 hours. Spoon preserves into/over the cheese. Serve immediately with crackers or toasts

    We often use a mixture of orange and white cheddar but any option will work.
