- 2 lb. cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 stick unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 Tbsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. minus 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 7 large eggs
- 2 c. heavy cream
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
Directions

1Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan and set aside.

2Place a rack 1/3 of the way up from the bottom of oven.

3Preheat oven to 350°. Beat cream cheese and butter until soft and smooth.

4Beat in the vanilla, sugar and cornstarch until the batter is smooth.

5Reduce to low speed and beat in eggs, one at a time, blending after each addition.

6Add heavy cream while beating.

7The mixture will be thin and smooth.

8Beat in lemon juice.

9Pour into prepared pan. Place that pan in a larger pan.

10Into the larger pan, pour hot water to a depth of one inch.
