  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped (optional)
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract

Directions

    Mix cake mix, 1 stick of butter, 1 egg and nuts.

    Pack in bottom of a greased sheet cake pan.

    Mix 3 eggs, cream cheese, box of powdered sugar and vanilla lemon extract.

    Beat until smooth. Pour on top of packed cake mix.

    Bake in oven at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.

    (Done when top is golden brown.)
