- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. finely chopped walnuts
- 1/3 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 c. sugar
- grated peel of 1 lemon
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. sour cream
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.

3In medium bowl, combine first 4 dry ingredients.

4Pour in butter or margarine; toss with a fork.

5Pat mixture evenly into prepared pan.

6Bake for 15 minutes.

7In mixer bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar and lemon peel until smooth.

8Add eggs, beating well.

9Pour over baked crust.

10Bake for 25 minutes; cool 5 minutes.

11In bowl, combine remaining ingredients.

12Spoon over cheesecake, spreading evenly.

13Bake for 5 to 7 minutes.

14Cool; refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
