Cheesey Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. shredded potatoes, thawed
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • margarine
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. ground pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 to 6 cups shredded cheese (any flavor will do)

Directions

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

    In a large bowl mix both cans of cream soup, butter or margarine, sour cream, salt and pepper.

    Make sure all ingredients are mixed well.

    Pour cheese into bowl and mix well.

    Pour thawed potatoes into bowl and mix well.

    Pour mixture into a 9 x 13 inch cake pan.

    (no need to grease pan) Bake at 450 degrees for 45-50 minutes.

    Put 1 cup of cheese on top the put back in for 5-10 minutes.

    Let cool for about 5-10 minutes.

    Very excellent as a side dish.
