  • 4 or 5 apples
  • 1/4 lb. Cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice

Directions

    Cut apples into wedges and put in baking dish.

    Pour water and lemon juice over apples.

    In another dish, mix remaining ingredients, including cheese.

    Put on top of apples.

    Cover and bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 350°.
