- 2 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
Directions

1Put flour in a bowl, cut in butter, work with fingers to separate butter into pea sized bits.

2Add remaining ingredients and stir until just combined.

3Turn onto lightly floured surface, press out and fold dough onto itself a few times.

4Handle dough as little as possible for fluffy, crumbly biscuits.

5Press dough into a rectangle about an inch thick, then using a knife cut into 12 squares.

6Bake on greased pan for 10 minutes at 400F.
