Cheesy Bread Dip

  • 2 loaves your favorite bread (not sliced)
  • 1 c. each of 3 cheeses (I use Cheddar, Swiss and Mozzarella)
  • 1/2 c. cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1 (16 oz.) carton French onion dip
  • 1 stick butter or margarine, cut up

Directions

    Cut top off 1 loaf of bread, saving top for use as a lid. Hollow out this loaf, saving the insides for dipping later. Combine all the other ingredients and stuff the hollowed out bread; replace top.

    Wrap tightly in foil and bake approximately 1 hour at 375°.

    Cut up reserved loaf of bread and insides for dipping.

    Serve hot with the pieces of bread all around.

    Don't forget to eat the shell when cheese mixture is gone.
