  • 1 (2 1/2 to 3 1/2 lb.) fryer, cut in serving pieces, washed and patted dry
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. grated Romano or Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. each salt and pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. basil or garlic powder
  • 3/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1 Tbsp. onion flakes
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 1/2 oz. can evaporated milk
  • 1/2 c. margarine

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Grease a cookie sheet with 1 teaspoon of margarine.

    Melt the rest in a small pan.

    Set aside.

    Mix flour, cheese and spices.

    Beat eggs and milk.

    Dip chicken pieces in egg-milk mixture; roll in flour mixture.

    Arrange on baking sheet.
