  • 1/2 lb. soft margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 1/2 c. grated Jack cheese
  • 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. corn meal
  • 4 tsp. baking powder

Directions

    Sift salt, flour, corn meal and baking powder together. Combine with remaining ingredients and blend well.

    Bake in greased 8 x 11-inch loaf pan.

    Preheat oven to 350°; insert cornbread and reduce temperature to 300°.
