  • 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese
  • 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. dry white wine or apple juice
  • dash of ground nutmeg
  • dash of ground red pepper
  • 1 French bread loaf, cut into cubes
  • 1 large Granny Smith apple, cut into wedges
