  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 6 c. potato flakes or buds
  • 7 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 small grated onion

Directions

    Heat the milk, margarine, salt, pepper and onion to near boiling.

    Transfer this mixture to a large mixing bowl.

    Add the cream cheese and potato flakes.
  4. 4
    Mix with a mixer until all is blended and potatoes are soupy.

    They'll thicken up as they bake. Cover top of potatoes with Parmesan cheese.

    Bake for 25 minutes at 350°, uncovered.

    Can stay in longer if covered.

    Serves 8 to 10.
