- 1 1/2 c. uncooked regular rice
- 3 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 c. margarine, softened
Directions

1Heat rice, water and salt to a boil, stirring once or twice. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 14 minutes without lifting lid to stir.

2Remove from heat; fluff rice lightly with fork.

3Cover and let steam 5 to 10 minutes.

4Stir in cheese and margarine.
