- 3 egg whites (1/3 to 1/2 c.)
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chilled whipping cream
- 1 c. miniature marshmallows
- 1 can cherry pie filling
Directions

1Heat oven to 275°.

2Cover baking sheet with heavy brown paper. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until foamy.

3Beat in 3/4 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time; continue beating until stiff and glossy.

4Spoon meringue into desired shape on paper, building upside.

5Bake 1 1/2 hours.

6Turn off oven; leave meringue in oven with door closed 1 hour.

7Remove from oven; cool.
