  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp. Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 can cherry pie filling

Directions

    Mix batter and put half in a greased and floured 9 X 13 pan for 35 to 40 minutes.

    Spread pie filling over top.

    Then dot with remaining butter.

    Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.

    While warm drizzle with powdered sugar frosting, canned frosting, or cooked white icing.
