- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1/4 c. margarine, softened
- 3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 c. water
- 2 eggs
- 21 oz. can cherry pie filling
- 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
Directions

1Combine cake mix, margarine and cream cheese in large bowl. Mix at low speed until fine crumbs form.

2Reserve 1 cup crumbs for topping.

3To remaining crumbs, add water and eggs.

4Beat 2 minutes at highest speed of mixer.

5Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.

6Pour batter into pan.

7Spoon pie filling over batter.

8Gently spread to cover batter.

9Combine reserved crumbs and chopped pecans.

10Sprinkle over pie filling.

11Bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes or until set in center and edges are golden brown.

12Cool 25 minutes, then glaze.
