  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. lemon concentrate
  • 1 large can cherry pie filling (blueberry or apple, if desired)
  • 10x sugar

Directions

    Blend butter, sugar and add eggs.

    Mix flour and lemon.

    Mix well.

    Smooth batter.

    Outline 15 squares in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    On each square, put 1 tablespoon of pie filling on top.

    Sprinkle with 10x sugar.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

    When cake is cool, sprinkle with more 10x sugar.
