- 1 can cherries
- 2/3 c. sugar
- dash of salt
- 1 envelope gelatin
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 drops almond flavor
- 3 egg whites
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 c. whipped cream
Directions

1Drain cherries.

2Heat sugar in 1/2 cup juice and cool.

3Mix gelatin in water.

4Add gelatin, flavoring and cherries.

5Add egg whites that have been beaten stiff with cream of tartar.

6Add whipped cream and pour into 9-inch baked pie crust.
