- 1 cup cherries pitted
- 3 tablespoons raisins
- 100 milliliters apple cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 onion small, peeled and sliced
- 3 cardamom pods
- 3 allspice berries
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- salt
Directions

1Place all the ingredients in a nonstick pot. Cover and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.

2Uncover and continue to simmer until most of the liquid has reduced.

3If canning the chutney, spoon into a sterlized jar while the chutney is still hot and seal. Turn upside down to cool.
