- 3 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 c. butter
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 large can cherry pie filling
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, soda and salt together.

2Melt butter and add to dry ingredients until crumbly. Blend egg, milk and vanilla together and add to batter.

3Put 3/4 of batter in baking pan.

4Put it in with floured hands.

5Add pie filling.

6Take remaining batter and roll out on floured board. Cut in strips to make lattice top.

7Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350°.
