  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • sugar
  • cinnamon

Directions

    Cream the sugar with the oil. Add eggs, one at a time, beating until well blended.

    Add flour sifted with the baking powder. Pour 1/2 into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Spread the cherry pie filling over the dough. Sprinkle lightly with sugar and cinnamon. Add remaining dough and sprinkle with more cinnamon and sugar. Bake at 325° for 50 minutes. Drizzle with powdered sugar glaze when still slightly warm.
