- 4 cups sugar
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 12 cup white corn syrup
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
- 2 teaspoons white vinegar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 12 cup marshmallow cream
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup chopped candied cherry
Directions

1In heavy 4 quart saucepan; combine first 6 ingredients.

2Bring to a boil, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved.

3Reduce heat to low.

4Cook, stirring occasionally until soft ball stage.

5Remove from heat.

6Add vanilla and marshmallow cream.

7Stir well, then add pecans and cherries.

8Spread in buttered 8x8-inch pan.
