  • 2 cans cherry pie filling
  • 1 to 1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • nuts (optional)

    Pour pie filling into a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Sprinkle 1/2 of the dry cake mix over the pie filling (store the rest).

    Drizzle all of the melted butter over the top.

    Add nuts.

    Bake at 350° until bubbly and golden brown.

    Serve warm with ice cream or Cool Whip.
