  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 can cherry pie filling (or apple, blueberry, etc.)
  • nuts and coconut (optional)

Directions

    Melt margarine.

    Combine in bowl with dry cake mix.

    Mix until crumbly.

    Pour pie filling in bottom of 8 x 8-inch or 9 x 9-inch square baking pan.

    Sprinkle crumbly cake mix over fruit.

    (You may add some nuts or coconut to cake mix.)

    Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes or until slightly brown around edges.
