- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 can sour cherries
Directions

1Pour cherries into baking dish.

2Sprinkle cinnamon, nutmeg and 1/3 cup of the sugar over the cherries.

3Mix all the ingredients together like cake batter; spoon over cherries.

4Bake at 425° for 10 minutes.

5Turn oven to 350°; bake for 15 minutes longer.

6Serve plain or with cream.

7It is delicious served with vanilla ice cream, also.
