- 1 (18 oz.) box white cake mix
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 2 cans cherry pie filling
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Mix dry cake mix and melted margarine together.

3Pat 3/4 of this mixture in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan, building up the edges.

4Spread the cherry pie filling over the cake mixture.

5Mix the walnuts with the remaining cake mixture and sprinkle it over top of the cherries.

6Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
